Summer version: october to april

After departing from the hotel, you will cross a glacial valley, and the journey culminates its first stage at Garibaldi Pass, which is the only road pass that traverses the Fuegian Andes. Like a naturalist or a photographer who discovers happiness in a landscape, from the top of the mountain range, you will catch a glimpse of Lake Escondido, a small marvel that will later be traversed from south to north along Route 3.

Near the northern end of Lake Escondido, the asphalt is left behind and a journey begins along the old paths of a sawmill, which soon turn into impassable trails for conventional vehicles and lead to Lake Fagnano, the fifth largest lake in Argentina.

The off-road route and the stops through the forest and along the coast of Lake Fagnano offer fun and enjoyment of the richness of the landscape. In the forest near the shores of Fagnano, there is free time to walk and explore while the guide prepares a hearty meal that is enjoyed comfortably in an exclusive shelter located in the midst of a natural environment, far from the noise of modern life.

Itinerary

8:30/9:00 AM Pick Up from hotels.

10:00 AM Garibaldi Pass. Crossing the Andes.

10:30 AM Lake Escondido.

11:00 AM Off-Road - 1 hour.

12:00 PM Lake Fagnano. Arrival at the Shelter.

12:30 PM Lunch.

2:30 PM Return to Ushuaia.

4:00 PM Arrival in Ushuaia.

Meals: appetizer: eggplant escabeche, salami, cheese, olives, flavored toast.

Starter: choripan argento (Argentinian chorizo sandwich).

Main Course: lenga-infused ribeye steak served with grilled potatoes in herb oil and classic mixed salad.

Dessert: traditional bread pudding with mixed cream.

Beverages: mineral water, soft drinks, Patagonian Malbec red wine.

Attractions: Andes Mountains, Lakes Escondido, Lake Fagnano, Tierra Mayor Valley.

Includes: transportation, English or Spanish-speaking guides, lunch with beverages.

IMPORTANT: The excursion is carried out in Toyota SW4 vehicles with a maximum capacity of 6 passengers + 1 guide per vehicle. Please note that although the vehicles provide a high level of comfort, the space and comfort are smaller compared to minibuses or large buses. For individuals with a large physical build, it is recommended to consider the private version.
